At the beginning of the year we carried out a nationwide survey of our landlords and I am delighted to be able to share some of the key results with you.
80% of those who responded said that accreditation matters when it comes to choosing an agent – at Hunters we are members of NALS, SafeAgent and ARLA, all vital for the protection of our customers and the protection of their monies.
Over 90% agreed that having professionally trained staff is very important – all of our colleagues receive regular training from the Hunters Training Academy.
98% felt that having correctly referenced tenants is key – we offer a complete referencing service for all our landlords.
80% of all landlords that responded relied on the letting agent to make sure they complied with all legislative requirements – understanding the complex requirements is highly important, to ensure we protect our landlords and tenants alike.
¾ of our landlords are looking to invest in more letting properties in the next 12 months.
Rental prices, void periods and cost of damages were all equally as important to the landlord.
