Hunters Group named in top 3% of Estate Agents in the UK.
It’s getting to that time of year that brings a combination of emotions; excitement, anticipation, and feeling just a little bit nervous.
October is the beginning of the ‘award’ season. As summer becomes a fading memory, the estate agent industry starts to evaluate the year and pay credit to the people and brands that made a positive impact on maintaining high standards and professionalism across the property sales and lettings market.
In mid-October, the Hunters franchise team were thrilled to attend the EA Masters 2019 event at Battersea.
Hosted by The Property Academy, in collaboration with Rightmove, the event is a leadership conference, exhibition and awards day packed solid with over 60 trade stands from across the industry.
Big events like this are always a great way to meet new contacts, catch up with old ones, keep up to date with what’s new, and identify evolving trends. We had a very busy exhibition stand taking several enquiries from successful independent EAs considering making the move to becoming an even more successful independent trading as a Hunters franchise. Along with many other brands and industry suppliers, we were showcasing our new products and services to a wider audience than we usually get the opportunity to do in one day, which was brilliant!
The highlight of the day for me was most definitely the conference and networking aspect of the event- as with previous years, the speaker line up was amazing with big names from industry, celebrity, and business gurus, all sharing their experiences and giving tips on how to keep moving forward with success and innovation.
Robbie Anderson, psychologist and high-performance coach, gave the delegates food for thought with his decoding the process of the successful business transaction, Gabby Logan and rugby legend Jonathan Davies were incredibly interesting and inspirational in their stage time too. Other speakers included Daniel Barea, the customer insights manager from Rightmove, Josh Phegan, one of Australia’s top estate agent coaches, Michael Pallier from Sotheby’s International Realty in Sydney, Australia, and Natalia Cohen, world record breaking rower and motivational coach.
Then after the conference and plenty of networking time, we settled ourselves down for the award presentations. The Property Academy together with Rightmove, publishes its annual ‘Best Estate Agency Guide’ (BEAG) which aims to identify and reward the estate agencies that deliver the very best in service and results for their clients and customers. To be eligible to earn a place in the 2020 edition, all 25,000 branches and 15,000 agencies across the UK are assessed on a criterion covering marketing, customer service, and sales and lettings results. The top 20% of UK estate agencies are published in the guide, with the top 3 % also winning a BEAG award.
Hunters Group made it into the top 3% nationally in recognition of our results in property sales throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region.
I am personally thrilled and delighted to continue to see the hard work of members of the Hunters family being rewarded and acknowledged with such a prestigious award.
Well done to all those involved… and if you would like to be a part of the ever-increasing Hunters Property Group family, please just give me a ring or drop me an email. I’m always around, unless I’m off to another swish industry do of course…
